ABOUT THE ARTIST

Welcome to Beacon Hill Glass! I have been a stained glass artist since 2021. I grew up on the east coast, but moved to Logan, Utah for college and have never left. I live with my partner Jay and our two dogs, Azula and Winston Churchill. I'm an outside kid, I love being in the mountains hiking, climbing, and biking. I work remotely full time as a Water Resources Engineer, which allows us to travel quite a bit. I have always been very artsy and craftsy but stained glass is the first art form that I have fallen in love with and haven't been able to stop.

I choose the name Beacon Hill Glass because of it's significance to me and my family. Beacon Hill is where my parent's live in a rural town in Vermont. I have very fond memories of running around the woods and catching frogs in the little stream near our house. Both of my parents are very talented craftsman, my mother is a quilter and my father a woodworker. Ever since I can remember, my father was building furniture and stamping it with his Beacon Hill Woodworking logo. And now that my mom is retired, she's been using Beacon Hill Quilting as her brand when she goes to art markets. Even though a lot has changed since I was little, I thought using this name would be a lovely tribute to the special place that I hold very dear to my heart.
